Congregational Meeting August 23, 2020
Dear NPPC Family,
I look forward to seeing you all via Zoom Sunday morning, August 23, for our congregational meeting to call Rachel Parsons-Wells as our new Associate Pastor for Church Life & Family Ministries!
The information was sent out in our August 14 e-news, and again by email on August 18 so you have all the information in one place.
Please remember that the only business that we can consider in the meeting is the call to Rachel. We will have an annual congregational meeting at the end of September or first of October to present the budget, elect officers, and so on.
Two important things to note:
1) If you have never used Zoom before, Sunday morning is not the time to figure it out! The tech team will host a practice session on Thursday evening 8/20 at 7 pm to get folks acclimated. Check your email for details.
2) If you have friends, or know of other church members who do not have electronic access, please check your email for the phone number to call and login information to use through a landline and be part of the meeting.
Congregational Meeting Details:
A meeting of the congregation of New Providence Presbyterian Church is hereby called to be held on August 23, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
The recommendation of the Associate Pastor Nominating Committee to call Rachel E. Parsons-Wells as Associate Pastor for Church Life & Family Ministries will be presented for approval by the congregation. The meeting will be held via Zoom. Called by order of the Session on July 18, 2020.
